My Favorite Hamlet Movie Version

The version of Hamlet that I like was the Mike Almereyda's version. Mike has a version that is based on the present but it has the old dialogue. Some points may be different but they are speeching the same way the original play Hamlet spoke just like the movie Romeo and Juliet. The actors are more realistic to me in this version. At the same time making it more modern is making the movie more of a connection to use. There were some parts that were definitely different from the play. The play began with the ghost that appears to Horatio. In the movie beginning starts with Hamlet video taping himself. I just think that this is the best version of the three movies.

In the movie the one actor that struck me as realistic is Hamlet. In the beginning Hamlet, who is played by Ethan Hawk, is depressed because of his father dying. Ethan bring Hamlet to life to me that I actually feel what he feels. If I could ask the director to change one thing about the movie it would have to be the beginning. I would add the ghost part but make it more modernized. They put a security smoking a cigarette than the character that plays as Horatio come up to tell them to come inside then they see the ghost. After that it should cut to the part were Hamlet is video taping himself. I would ask them to add the regular ghost scene but just make it more modernized. That would be the only thing that I would change if I could ask the director to change one thing.
